A problem solved - this ab mat comes with an attached fold-out foam pad to prevent the mat moving during sit ups whilst preventing abrasion to your tailbone, even during the most rigorous high rep workouts. Please note the ab mat should only be used with the pad folded out.
High Quality Construction:
Made with a high density EPE foam core that retains its shape and will not wear with repeated use, unlike cheaper squishy foam ab mats. The mat cover is made from a durable, quality PU leather that won't slip even during vigorous workouts. It's light weight makes it inherently more breathable than PVC and allows it to adjust to body temperature.
When to use the Ab Mat
While this sit up mat was primarily designed to offer ergonomic support and protection for the lower back during abdominal work, it can also be used for many other exercises - Use the pad to support your knees during ground stability work, as a rest for head or handstand training, or while you are practicing push ups.
